Recycling In Business Waste
Business waste: recycling woods
The wood is a fuel used in many countries, and occupies a space wastes and wastes a scarce commodity. The lack of firewood causes the cutting of trees and consequent deforestation, and in many parts is a serious problem. Which is collected as MSW comes mainly from old furniture, pruning and gardening, demolition waste (beams, doors windows …), remains of packing, etc. You can proceed to a manual selection of those items that have a value in its current form and for direct sale for reuse, and the rest can be passed to a grinder, and after the addition of a binder, turn them into briquettes for sale as fuel. They are also used as raw material for manufacture of pellets for the furniture industry, for example
It is also very important to use as raw material for the production of gas in biomass processing plants.
Business waste: Recycling used tires
As mentioned above, is required for each Waste Management Plan, to respect the so-called principle of hierarchy, referred to in Article 1.1 of the Waste Act 10/98. It is, therefore, to prevent as much as possible, reuse what you can, recycle what cannot be reused and recovered all that energy cannot be reused or recycled. This general principle can be tempered because of the technological and economic conditions prevailing in each case.
The NFUs recycling opportunities, i.e. the use of its component materials for uses other than energy recovery has recently experienced a significant increase. Potential uses of recycled materials from the NFUs are the manufacture of asphalt and some materials for civil works.
We have tire shredders and metal separators and fibers for reuse.
Energy recovery is a strong option to consider in cases than any of the above. There are experiences in fuel use as whole or crushed NFUs both waste facilities as other industrial plants (cement, brick, etc.).
Business waste: Recycling glass
The first use of glass collected through collection is sent to the factory for conversion into containers.
As alternatives we manufacture glass ceramics, mixing crushed glass with clay to make tiles, manufacture of sintered parts, using occupational workshops, training of castings. An activity, relatively low cost of implementation and high profitability is the transformation of glass into tiles, p. e. 25 mm square by crushing, pressing and sintering in a furnace.
Business waste: LFG and / or energy
Biological processes used in wastewater treatment, waste management and treatment of contaminated soils are derived from processes that occur in nature. Aerobic and anaerobic cycles are typical examples.
The so-called anaerobic digestion is one of the oldest processes used in the stabilization of concentrated sludge generated in wastewater treatment. It consists in the decomposition of organic matter in the absence of molecular oxygen. Subsequently, we demonstrated that dilute organic waste can also be treated anaerobically. The anaerobic process is a net producer of renewable energy, biogas. The data of energy consumption in anaerobic digestion plants ranging from 20 to 40% of the energy produced. These data do not usually include the consumption necessary for the subsequent aerobic digestion product or treatment of waste water produced in the dehydration product of digestion. As an example, one ton of organic fraction of urban waste generates about 130 kWh.
Biogas is also produced by the same process, although naturally in landfills (landfills), wastewater treatment plants and can be used in many ways, such as fuel for electric power and thermal energy (heat utilization ) and so on.
